However, the analysis highlights several key areas where structural intentionality is needed across East Tennessee's music sector.

The 16 strategic recommendations collectively offer a comprehensive path forward for East Tennessee. By moving the sector beyond informal, community‑based operations toward an intentional, professionalized structure, East Tennessee can unlock the full cultural and economic potential inherent in its music talent.

This work is not merely a diagnostic tool; it is a blueprint for action for the entire region. The future success of East Tennessee’s Music Census depends on the commitment of its regional stakeholders – government, organizations, and the private sector – to embrace these findings and implement the recommendations.
