Who is this event for?

Sound Development Los Angeles is designed for senior professionals working at the intersection of culture, real estate, entertainment, city strategy, and the creative economy. Attendees typically include developers and investors, venue operators, architects and designers, city and public-sector leaders, cultural organizations, and other decision-makers shaping cultural infrastructure across the United States.


How selective is the event?

Sound Development LA is intentionally curated. Attendance is limited to ensure high-level discussion, meaningful networking, and a strong balance of perspectives across the cultural, real estate, and public sectors.


How can I apply to attend?

Sound Development is an invite-only forum. Applications are now closed.


When will I find out if my application is accepted?

Applicants are notified on a rolling basis. Most confirmations will be issued between late December and mid-January. Early applications are encouraged due to limited space.


Is Sound Development suitable for early-stage professionals or students?

Sound Development is tailored for senior professionals working on active or upcoming projects in cultural or urban development. While emerging leaders are welcome to apply, priority is given to individuals in decision-making roles.


Is there a cost to attend?

There is no cost to apply. Registration details will be provided upon acceptance.

Attendance is tied to the individual approved during the application process. If you need to request a transfer, please contact jett@sounddiplomacy.com and we will review on a case-by-case basis.

What’s included?

A Sound Development LA pass includes access to the full day of programming, including:

  • Keynotes and main-stage sessions

  • Panel discussions and workshops

  • Curated behind-the-scenes site tours

  • Networking sessions and an evening reception

Light refreshments and coffee breaks are provided throughout the day, as well as lunch.


Will there be behind-the-scenes tours?

Yes. SDLA features curated site tours hosted by industry-leading partners and organizations across Los Angeles. These tours offer insider access to creative studios, cultural venues, urban development projects, and emerging cultural districts. Specific locations will be announced closer to the event.


Will sessions be recorded or livestreamed?

Sound Development is designed as an in-person, high-engagement forum. Select content may be shared after the event, but sessions will not be livestreamed.

Will transportation be provided for site tours?

No, transportation will not be provided between official SDLA locations.
