Music Cities Events is a series of conventions that explore how music, in all its forms, makes cities better

We are the co-founders and curators of Music Cities Events, a series of conventions and discussions currently consisting of Music Cities Convention, Music Tourism Convention, Music Cities Hackathon and Sound Development.

Since 2015, we have curated a total of eight global conventions and one hackathon across two continents. By the end of 2018 we will have almost doubled the number of Music Cities Events, adding an extra seven events and another hackathon, as well as two brand new conventions to the series.

Our events bring $100,000+ in economic benefit to each host location and have helped connect 1,600+ attendees from all over the world. Each event explores how music influences urbanism and informs, impacts and influences policy, planning, community development, building codes, regeneration, tourism, branding, quality of life and international development. Our city host partners have included; Brighton, Washington & Berlin for Music Cities Convention, Liverpool & Franklin Tennessee for Music Tourism Convention, Berlin for our Music Cities Hackathon and London & New York for Sound Development.

Our upcoming events, include Music Cities Conventions in Memphis, Tennessee 25-27th October 2017, Melbourne, Australia 19-20th April 2018 & Lafayette, Louisiana 11-12th October 2018, as well as a Music Tourism Convention in Cologne, Germany 28-29th August 2018.
